Things to do

We purposely booked our wedding for a bank holiday weekend in order to give our guests time to maybe see a bit more of Poland. Here is just a selection of a few things to do in the area.


Krakow (70km from our venue)

Kraków is the second largest and one of the oldest cities in Poland. Its historic centre was inscribed on the list of World Heritage Sites as the first of its kind. Situated on the Wisla River the city dates back to the 7th century.

Tyskie Brewery (5km from our venue)

The Tyskie Brewery has been open for over 600 years. Take the adventure tour through the brewery to see its huge fermentation tanks, and then through its grounds to the Brewing Museum. After this trip through history, you will be treated to the unforgettable experience of tasting fresh beer in the Tyskie Pub. There are three different tour options, each taking between 1-2 hours.

Spa at Hotel Piramida (5km from our venue)

Castle Museum in Pszczyna (15km from our venue)

The Castle Museum in Pszczyna has been included on the list of “Seven Architectural Wonders of the Silesian Province”. The following exhibitions are open to visitors:

  • The Wilhelm II Emperor Apartment (Apartament cesarza Wilhelma II).
  • Chambers located on the first floor with the exception of the Apartament Pana Domu and the Princess Daisy Salon.

Castle Museum in Pszczyna

Auschwitz (25km from our venue)

Although not the most joyful place, we highly recommend a visit to Auschwitz. Tours operate every hour, and the full tour takes up to four hours. The fee includes a visit to both Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau with an English-speaking guide, screening of the documentary, headphone rental and transportation to and from Birkenau.

Bison Reserve (20km from our venue)

The forests surrounding our wedding venue are known for having various chase game, including bisons. This reserve is a great opportunity to see these animals from up close. It is open Monday to Sunday from 9am until 7pm and the bisons are fed regularly at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
